The Ivers Summer Picnic is an event organised to bring the community together, it is being coordinated by 3 local residents’ associations within The Ivers. Iver Village Residents’ Association (IVRA) is taking the lead alongside Richings Park Residents’ Association & Iver Heath RA.
The event will be held at Iver Village Recreation Ground (not to be confused with Iver Heath Recreation Ground which is somewhere else) in the centre of Iver Village (SL0 9NX) on Saturday 13th July 2024.
We have funding support from Iver Parish Council, local businesses and Pinewood Studios. We also applied for the National Lottery. If you have a local business and would like to sponsor one of the activities, please get in contact as soon as possible: hi@ivra.org.uk
IVRA ran successful events in the same location to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and the Coronation in 2023, we are taking forward lessons from those experiences to make this one just as successful and even better!
The event will bring together residents from the whole of the parish and we want to develop and improve local community relationships and involve volunteers. If you want to volunteer at the event, please contact us ASAP: hi@ivra.org.uk
The Ivers Summer Picnic will be free of charge and open for all local residents to attend – you are welcome to bring your own picnics but there will also be local stalls offering food and ice creams;
Activities will be offered for all ages:
Stalls will be offered for local organisations and businesses for a small fee. If you want to have a stall at the event, you guessed it – please contact us ASAP: hi@ivra.org.uk
