SUMMARY:Annual General Meeting 2024
DESCRIPTION:Iver Village Residents’ Association’s Annual General Meeting is on 30th July and you should be there. Why? Because you count! \nThis last year things started moving in the right direction for Iver – we have a larger network of residents involved\, Bucks Council started investing in our area (though not enough)\, and we have growing numbers of residents attending our events. \nThis means that if you’re an IVRA member\, there’s a better chance that your voice is heard and your needs are considered. If you’re not a member yet – you can only blame yourself for being unheard. After all\, being an IVRA member is free and we don’t ask you to commit to anything. \nThe IVRA’s mission is to represent the community’s interests\, needs\, and requirements with councillors\, the MP\, private companies\, and others. Since you are part of the community\, we want to ensure that your needs are represented and the only way to do that is by you coming and telling us. \nThat’s why 30th July is so important – because this is your time to be heard. \nAll you need to do at this stage is to come to the AGM (if you’re not an IVRA member and you live in Iver Village\, please sign up for free first: https://www.ivra.org.uk/membership/ )\, vote for your representatives\, and most importantly – tell us what you think needs to change in Iver Village. \nWe meet at Iver Village Hall on Tuesday 30th July at 7pm. \nIf you want to be voted in for the IVRA Committee and help manage and represent the association\, please let us know at hi@IVRA.org.uk \n  \nHere’s the agenda for the 2023 AGM : \n1. Membership Secretary’s report\n7. To nominate and elect Committee members\n8. Resident Participation – tell us what needs to change in Iver Village\n9. Any other business\n10. Date of next meeting \n  \nThe most important item\, as we see it\, is the Resident Participation session.
