SUMMARY:Annual General Meeting 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Iver Village Residents’ Association’s Annual General Meeting is on 1st July 2025 and you should be there. Why? Because you count! \nEvery year\, the IVRA grows and with it\, its influence and ability to represent its members. This means that when we asked Bucks to come and talk to residents about the High Street\, officers did. They used the information provided by the residents to draw plans that will make it better for us all. This is just one example out of many instances where we made sure your voice is heard. \nThe IVRA’s mission is to represent the community’s interests\, needs\, and requirements with councillors\, the MP\, private companies\, and others. \nThe only issue is this: if you don’t talk to us\, we don’t know what issues you face and can’t relay them back to the different authorities. If you’re not a member\, you’re totally in the dark. So let’s change that\, shall we? \nBeing an IVRA member is currently free\, we don’t ask you to commit to anything. It is worth coming to the AGM on 1st July\, though\, since that’s when we discuss the most important issues and it’s your opportunity to be heard. \nAll you need to do at this stage is to come to the AGM (if you’re not an IVRA member and you live in Iver Village\, please sign up for free first: https://www.ivra.org.uk/membership/ )\, vote for your representatives\, and most importantly – tell us what you think needs to change in Iver Village. \nWe meet at Iver Village Hall on Tuesday 1st July at 7pm. \nIf you want to be voted in for the IVRA Committee and help manage and represent the association\, please let us know at hi@IVRA.org.uk \nHere’s the agenda for the 2025 AGM:\n1. Welcome\n2. Apologies for Absence\n3. Minutes of AGM 2024\n4. Chair’s Report on the IVRA’s activities in the last year\n5. Hon. Treasurer’s Report – to discuss the accounts for the year\n6. Membership Secretary’s report\n7. To nominate and elect Committee members\n8. Resident Participation – tell us what needs to change in Iver Village\n9. Any other business\n10. Date of next meeting \nThe most important item\, as we see it\, is the Resident Participation session\, and the majority of the meeting’s time will be dedicated to it. \nDon’t let your voice be unheard – come and discuss with us what needs to change. \nOliver Kraus\,\nChair\, Iver Village Residents’ Association

SUMMARY:FARm OUT - The Ivers Summer Fete 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Ivers Summer Fete and Picnic\, FARm OUT\, is an event organised by the IVRA to bring the community together. \nThe event will be held at Iver Village Recreation Ground (not to be confused with Iver Heath Recreation Ground\, which is somewhere else) in the centre of Iver Village (SL0 9NX) on Saturday 19th July 2025. \nWe have funding support from Iver Parish Council and local sponsors such as Relay Technical Transport (sponsoring the children’s entertainer)\, Pinewood Studios (sponsoring the stage)\, Paul Antony the Hair Salon (sponsoring the petting zoo)\, and Oakwook Estates (sponsoring the huge bouncy castle). We also applied for the National Lottery but they can’t help this year\, so if you have a local business and can help sponsor one of the activities\, please get in contact as soon as possible: hi@ivra.org.uk \nIVRA ran successful events in the same location in 2022 (the Platinum Jubilee)\, in 2023 (the Coronation)\, and in 2024 (Olympicnic)\, and we are taking forward lessons from those experiences to make this one just as successful and even better! \nThe event will bring together residents from the whole of the parish and we want to develop and improve local community relationships and involve volunteers. If you want to volunteer at the event for an hour or two\, please contact us now: hi@ivra.org.uk or fill in this form. \nFARm OUT will be free of charge and open for all local residents to attend – you are welcome to bring your own picnics\, but there will also be local stalls offering food and ice cream. \nActivities will be offered for all ages: \n\nBouncy castle obstacle course (see image below)\nGaldiator Dual for teenagers (see image below)\nAppearances by a local comedian – The Mark Jones Show.\nA visit from Buck Bear – the mascot of Bucks Radio.\nLocal child dancing groups.\nFootball activities\nRaffle and Tombola\n\nAnd much more! \nStalls will be offered for local organisations and businesses for a small fee. If you want to have a stall at the event\, you guessed it – please contact us right now: hi@ivra.org.uk \nMain Poster: \n\n  \nThe plan: \n\n  \nTeen Area Poster: \n \nEvent Map (click for the full size map): \n \nBouncy castle obstacle course: \n\n\n\nGaldiator Dual: \n \n
