The Litter Pick held on August 6th was an outstanding success with a great deal of commitment and hard work in soaring temperatures. The volunteers were rewarded for their efforts with a very large platter of delicious sandwiches from The Swan Public House, and a cooling free drink purchased by the Residents Association in acknowledgement for their help. Can’t wait for the next one! It was really wonderful the way new people showed up to help our community. Thank you to everyone who was involved.

The AGM was held the following week and yet again was a real success! (This MAY have been due to the provision of biscuits). We discussed future projects and the new committee that will take the association forward. Thanks were given to Ciaran Beary for having been the Chair for the IVRA for the past few years, as he stepped back from the role effective from the date of 12th August.

The Elected Committee is currently:

  • Chairperson – Oliver Kraus

  • Vice Chair & Communications – Sally Roberts
