Come in person on 26th September or fill in a quick survey to let Bucks know what you think about Iver High Street – see the survey link at the end of this page.

Dear residents,

After contacting Bucks’ Council many times and with many of your responses to the survey about double yellow lines, the council listened, decided that it needs to come up with a good solution for our High Street, and now wants to hear even more from you before coming up with a plan that will hopefully solve a lot of our problems. We don’t expect chocolate fountains and unicorns, but if we provide the right feedback, focus on the critical things, and ask for sensible changes, we may get them.

Buckinghamshire Council’s Community board asked us to help spread the word about the stakeholder meeting / consultation they are running for the residents.

It’s going to be:
📍At Jubilee Pavilion, Iver Village recreation ground
📆On Thursday 26th September 2024
🕒At 3pm

While the main purpose of the project is to deal with the issue of Air Quality as part of Priority 1 of the South Bucks Area Air Quality Action Plan, they understand that the residents object any plan that will negatively impact other aspects of the high street:

  • They are aware that they also need to deal with parking issues.
  • They learned that we’re going to object to anything that will harm the shops on the high street or will push parking to the side streets.
  • They want to hear more about what you, the residents, want and need at this consultation and through the IVRA.

The IVRA has already collected 3 years’ worth of residents’ feedback, issues, and required improvements. You can see them in the survey on the next page. Please come in person on 26th September or click on this link, answer the survey, and we’ll present your views to them:  https://www.ivra.org.uk/survey-iver-village-high-street/

Your voice counts, it makes a difference, and it’s heard!
